Ponus Ridge Project - New Canaan, CT
This client had eyes set on a quaint, historic home with natural landscaping. We were excited to inherit a project with such beautiful bones! The architectural features - exposed beams, craftsman built ins and a coffered ceiling in the living room - were original to the home built in 1825. Our design incorporated traditional furniture pieces with transitional prints, warm brass tones, and natural textures in rugs and wallcoverings to enhance the warmth & coziness in this home. The screened in porch is the perfect transition from the stunning yard to the home’s interior spaces. We used all weather fabrics and material in greens and natural tones to mimic the back yard’s luster.
